For the coursework this year we were asked to choose from a range of tasks given through a variation of written briefs. These included producing a music promo video, a TV advertisement package for a new service or for a new computer game, a promo advert for a new soap opera, a preview of a child's TV drama, an extract from a documentary or a short film. Looking through the selection I was immediately drawn towards the music promo video as I thought that it would give me chance to enjoy making my first piece of production work through my passion for music. My chosen brief as it stands is:
Create a promotion package for the release of an album , to include a music promo video, together with two of the following options:
-a website homepage for the band
-a cover for its release on DVD
- a magazine advertisement for the DVD
I think that out of these few options I will include the cover for it's release and the website homepage for my created band.
