Now that I'm pretty confident about the ideas I want to include in my Promo Video it's time to start making a story board to base the production of my video on. I've vaguely sketched up the most prominent shots that are going to be included along with some information beside them to note any particular movement that might also be going on. The pictures aren't great quality but it's just a rough outline of what's going to happen on the day of filming. Because I've already taken pictures of the location areas that I'm going to be using I've decided to print these pictures out and place them in the frames where the image is going to be used in the motion. I've then sketched up the other frames in pencil so that any last minute changes can be made I'd I feel something isn't working behind the camera. To make it easier to view the storyboard I have chosen to create an animatic video to run through the frames. Filming each frame in still on the camera will allow me to rearrange any shots later on if I feel they would look better in a different sequence. I made the animatic to make a more confident sequence of my frames and went out and took pictures of all the locations i was going to film in before. I then placed some of the effects on the images that I was sure i wanted to use in the video to get a really strong visual idea about how the film was going to flow together. I uploaded the video onto my own YouTube account and have posted it onto here...

ANIMATIC VIDEO
